About WEGO
The Wheeled Events Governing Organization (or W.E.G.O.) was established in 2005, to help unify the custom car show world. Currently, in the lowrider market, the main (if only) lowrider sanctioning body is Go-Lo Entertainment. We recognize their importance to the field, as they have set the bar in the lowrider car show world. At the same time, we realize their rules and regulations are geared towards their own annual Tour. Therefore, we elected to create a car show sanctioning body that could apply to any and all car show events.
With this, the W.E.G.O. rules have been created and the sanctioning body has been formed. A major area of concern we have found at car shows involves the judging. Often, exhibitors feel the judges are inadequate, too hurried, or not impartial. We realize judging is one of the vital areas to a successful car show event. Therefore, we have created our own W.E.G.O. certification / membership that car show judges can apply for. We have listings of these judges on the website, so if you are a car show promoter in need of some judges, you have come to the right place. Take a look around, and hopefully, you will find everything you need.
Thanks.
